OTT movies releases: In any film with Madhuri Dixit in the lead role, curiosity and interest are sparked. Her histrionics and dancing skills make her a performer who can completely transform a film. The direct-on-streamer release of this film serves both purposes. A typical Gujarati family holds a wedding engagement ceremony in the story. Many dance routines and songs are included, and Madhuri usually aces them. Madhuri also has a long history of mastering family dramas. It has been a captivating performance by her as a mother and wife. The OTT space seems to be a comfortable fit for Madhuri after her Netflix success with Fame Game.

  • Director: Advait Chandan
  • Cast: Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, Naga Chaitanya Akkineni
  • Language: Hindi
  • Platform: Netflix
  • Release date: October 6, 2022.

Laal Singh Chaddha: What more can be written about him than has already been written? There has never been an onslaught like that faced by a film when it first opened in theatres. Aamir Khan’s past statements were reportedly cut up by right-wing activists protesting against them. The film wouldn’t have made it to streamers so early if it had done well. However, its poor performance has made it arrive sooner than expected.

  • Director: Shashanka Ghosh
  • Cast: Riteish Deshmukh, Tamannaah Bhatia, Poonam Dhillon, Kusha Kapila
  • Language: Hindi
  • Platform: Netflix
  • Release date: September 30, 2022.

OTT movies releases: The story combines a love story with a battle of the professions. It involves Tamannah playing a matchmaker and Riteish playing a divorce lawyer. There must be an attraction between the opposite poles. It will face many hurdles, however, as the genre dictates. Having fun is what it’s all about. Director Shashanka Ghosh previously had commercial success with Veere Di Wedding, a wacky coming-of-age romance.

  • Director: Ravi Adhikari
  • Cast: Paoli Dam, Ashutosh Rana, Satish Kaushik, Nitin R Mirani
  • Language: Hindi
  • Platform: Disney Plus Hotstar
  • Release date: September 30, 2022.

There will be eight episodes in this eight-episode drama series. It follows the feuds between the Roy families over ownership of a wealthy family business set in Kolkata. Family ties that have been close for generations can be strained when power and money are at stake. There is another layer of drama provided by politics. Another piece of the puzzle is a high-stakes business. Investigators must step in to solve the mystery since there is crime and intrigue. Since few series are set in eastern parts of India, the backdrop of Kolkata will add an extra attraction. It is not unusual for a sequel to deal with family politics and business disputes, but it has also been made for exciting viewing.

An elaborate phishing scam leads young school dropouts to Jamtara, where the police and local politicians intercept them. As a result of real-life events, the second season of the show will focus on phishing calls and cybercrime in small towns in India. Sunny & Gudiya, the characters from the first season, are back and thirsting for revenge this time.

List of Tollywood OTT Movies movies to stream

  • Director: Sreejith N
  • Cast: Biju Menon, Padmapriya, Roshan Mathew, Nimisha Sajayan
  • Language: Malayalam
  • Platform: Netflix
  • Release date: October 6, 2022.

OTT movies releases: Introducing Biju Menon, the newly-minted winner of the National Award. Last year, he was awarded best supporting actor for Aarkkariyam. This is a movie of a different kind than Oru Thekkan Thallus. It received mixed reviews when it was released last month. As a result of its emotional heft and brutal fights, it was highly regarded. However, its predictable screenplay was also criticized. However, the relationship between the two women remained exciting and real. Based on the novel Ammini Pilla Vettu Case by noted Malayalam writer GR Indugopan, the film is directed by Sreejith N. One of the film’s highlights is the on-screen confrontation between Biju Menon and Roshan Mathew. It seems Netflix is doubling down on its Malayalam content with Oru Thekkan Thallu Case.

  • Director: Chandoo Mondeti
  • Cast: Nikhil Siddharth, Anupama Parameswaran
  • Language: Telugu
  • Platform: Zee5
  • Release date: October 5, 2022.

The specialty of Tollywood is blending mythology with modern sentiments. A good example of this is Karthikeya 2. The film earned Rs 120 crore at the box office and became a blockbuster. In the Telugu-speaking states, it has become one of the season’s biggest hits. Action, mythology, and sentiment have all been expertly combined in the film’s success. There was a big response from the audience to the emphasis on ancient belief systems.

  • Director: Rathish Ambat
  • Cast: Prithviraj Sukumaran, Vijay Babu, Isha Talwar, Saiju Kurup
  • Language: Malayalam
  • Platform: Disney Plus Hotstar
  • Release date: September 30, 2022.

This is Rathish Ambat’s second directorial venture after Kammara Sambhavam, a satirical thriller from 2018. It is Murali Gopi again who wrote the script for this film. Their previous outing also showed an interest in history and how Theerpu rewrites it.

Events from the early 1990s play a significant role in the film, becoming a source of revenge in the present. A mixed response was received to the film, which hit theaters on August 25. In Prithviraj Sukumaran’s case, the movie is interesting as he’s on a hot streak in Malayalam.

  • Director: R Ajay Gnanamuthu
  • Cast: Vikram, Irfan Pathan, Srinidhi Shetty, Roshan Matthews
  • Language: Tamil
  • Platform: SonyLiv
  • Release date: September 28, 2022.

The film’s synopsis says that actor Vikram likes to wear elaborate make-up on screen so that he appears invisible. Iru Murugan, Anniyan, and I have shown us this side of him. There are seven different outfits that Vikram wears in Cobra. When the film was released in theaters on August 31, there was not much enthusiasm. Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan also makes his screen debut in the film.

In the story, a mathematician adopts a new identity and enters the crime world. The story is about why he does what he does and his motivations. Music by A R Rahman is featured in the film.

  • Director: Vignesh Vijayakumar
  • Cast: Prasanna, SPB Charan, Kaniha, Dhanya Balakrishna
  • Language: Tamil
  • Platform: Aha Tamil
  • Release date: September 30, 2022.

It is not always possible to fulfill all the needs of our relationships. Some miss good friends. Some people need an affectionate spouse. OTT movies releases: Other employees are looking for an empathic boss. It may be desirable for some to have an amiable neighbor. Imagine what would happen if you could order any of these actors from your smartphone. Is that weird? That’s essentially what this series is about. There is a company that sends out actors who will play the roles that you want in your relationships.

  • Director: Mithran R Jawahar
  • Cast: Dhanush, Raashi Khanna, Nithya Menen, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Prakash Raj, Bharathiraja
  • Language: Tamil
  • Platform: Sun NXT
  • Release date: September 23, 2022.

The story is based on Thiruchitrambalam. Dhanush’s starrer is one of the year’s biggest hits. A slice-of-life story is cleverly woven into this cute romantic comedy. Thiruchitrambalam borrows heavily from VIP, Dhanush’s most loved and celebrated mainstream masala movie. The tone and location of Thiruchitrambalam are similar to VIP. There are some issues with Dhanush’s family, and he plays the innocent, good-for-nothing guy. As a result, Dhanush demonstrates both his star potential and his acting skills as he shows off his star material. As we have seen in Polladhavan, Aadukalam, Raanjhanaa, and VIP, there is no shortage of examples.

Other strengths of the film include the way the other characters are written. Realistic and believable, they are bankable. In her role as the hero’s friend, Nithya Menen excels.
